The meme coin $CAPYBARA. The Portuguese name
("capybara") comes from the Tupi word ka'apiûara, itself an amalgamation of kaá (leaf) + píi
(flat) + ú (eat) + ara (suffix agent noun), meaning "flat leaf-eating animal", or "herbivore".
The scientific names, both hydrochoerus and hydrochaeris, come from ὕδωρ (hydor "water") and
χοῖρος (choiros " pig, pig") in Greek.
